Haskell Indian Nations University155 Indian Avenue, Lawrence, KS 66046The RVCC Hub’s Annual Research Meeting is scheduled to begin Wed. May 27th & continue through Fri. May 29th, 2026. Our primary meeting place will be on the Haskell Indian Nations University campus, at 155 Indian Avenue in Lawrence, Kansas.
Our hotel block is currently at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott at 1 Riverfront Plaza, Lawrence, KS 66044.
We will have fresh snack items available in the mornings & afternoons. Coffee will be available in our main meeting space at the Haskell campus- plus the campus coffee shop called Cedar & Sage- more about their shop here.
We will serve lunch & dinner at the Haskell campus throughout our 3-day meeting. Lunch on Day 1 is from Taco Zone, lunch on Days 2 & 3 are from The Native Chef. Dinner on Days 1 & 2 are from Merchants. We have received the dietary restrictions & preferences input from those on the registration form & communicated this to the caterers. We will share more info about the specific menus as it’s received.

10-10:45am- Convergence Weavers offering - grants management
10:45-11:15am- Poster Session begins & lasts until 1pm, 30 minutes is for talks &/or walk-through
11:15-12pm- Working group &/or regional break-out sessions (optional)
12-1pm- LUNCH
1-2pm- Convergence Science framework
2-3pm- Year 5 mapping (first 15 minutes with regions, then 45 minutes together)
3-3:15pm- BREAK
3:15-4pm- Future Funding Subcommittee offering - changes to grants landscape, central threads of RVCC's work. Central prompt: “Which parts of our work or our foundation do we want to see continue? And why?”
4-4:15pm- Film festival sneak peeks
4:15-5:15pm- Group discussion or regional / working group break-outs
5:15-5:30pm- Closing protocol by AK Hub
5:30pm- Dinner in Stidham Union
7-9:30pm- RVCC Film Festival in Haskell Auditorium
